Things that are in limbo are not kept and cherished as a meaningful, useful possessions, but are not discarded either. I collected several belongings (of myself and friends) that their owners perhaps should throw out, but don’t. These photographs document these objects as I encountered them: seemingly meaningless possessions that we don’t keep for their aesthetic value nor instrumental use, but for some other reason. Through the photographs and categorizations, I explored the agency of their ‘sheerthereness’, as well as the fluidity of the relations we have with these things, as they may shift categories over time.
