May, 2021 – I presented my PhD work to the talk series of the Everyday Design Studio and Audrey Desjardin’s Studio Tilt in a talk titled: Weaving Stories – storytelling for making non-humans speak.
January, 2021 – I am teaching the course IAT344 Moving Images again with Kate Hennessy this spring. Very excited to witness another round of pandemic movie-making with talented SIAT students.
November, 2020 – Ron Wakkary, Armi Behzad Behbahani and I will be talking about our studies with the Tilting Bowl at the Philosophy of Human-Technology Relations conference.
September, 2020 – I am teaching the course IAT344 Moving Images with Kate Hennessy this fall, during which students are asked to create short films reflecting on their pandemic experiences.

August, 2020 – I successfully presented my dissertation proposal titled ‘making space for non-humans in the design of textile internet things’ and am officially a PhD candidate now! Thanks to Ron Wakkary and Will Odom for the great questions and feedback.
